Well, I said I was going to do better, and here I am having to post 4 weeks all in one post because I’m so far behind. Maybe I’ll do better from now on? 🙂  The last month has flown by.

I went to the doctor February 18 for a regular visit. My dad got to go with me, so he got to hear our sweet baby’s heartbeat with the Doppler machine. It had been about 21 years (since my mom was pregnant with Braxton) since he had heard that sound. He loved it.

I am so impressed with Dr. Knudsen and his entire staff. They are absolutely wonderful. He still gets excited when he gets to use the Doppler to let a mother hear her baby’s heartbeat. He told us that when it isn’t exciting for him anymore, he should probably retire – so true!

We asked how many people could come with me to find out the gender of the baby (March 20) – and just as would be expected, Dr. Knudsen said basically as many as I want! Yay! We can all go and find out together! – So exciting. We will have a room full I’m sure, but it’ll be fun, and definitely memorable.

I also had the 2nd trimester blood screenings done while we were there and the results all came back negative – which is a good thing. These are the tests that test for things like down syndrome, spinal disorders, and other things. – Good news! 🙂

I can’t believe we are coming up on being halfway through the pregnancy. After we find out the sex, there will be so much to do and I absolutely cannot wait! Then, next thing we know, our sweet baby will be here!

Here are the last four weeks updates that I have failed to post in a timely manner – sorry!
